  • Lavender tea

Lavender tea can also be used to combat headaches, intestinal and stomach problems, fevers and respiratory diseases. To benefit from the effects of lavender tea, one should drink a cup daily before bed.

  • Banana and cinnamon tea

Bananas are a rich source of potassium and magnesium, minerals that greatly improve sleep quality. These minerals also help your muscles and veins to relax and destroy the negative impacts of an excess of cortisol. Bananas also contain an amino acid, tryptophan, which helps increase serotonin levels which, in turn, help regulate sleep patterns. Cinnamon, is also very useful for your health as it soothes and relaxes the body. In addition, it helps in digestion and blood circulation. All you need to do is cut off both ends of the banana and place it, peel and all, into boiling water. Boil it for around 10 minutes. Using a colander, pour the water into a mug. Sprinkle the cinnamon into the tea. Drink it one hour before bed-time.

Passion fruit is known for its calming effect and when consumed in the form of tea, it helps to fight insomnia. Passion fruit tea also helps in weight loss, fighting swelling for its diuretic action and still controls cholesterol. To make the tea must be used the leaves of passion fruit infusion. Tea should be taken daily before bed.

Chamomile tea is well known and used for its health benefits, including improved sleep quality. Its soothing and relaxing action promotes a good night’s sleep, ending with insomnia. In addition, chamomile tea can be used to soften muscle aches, inflammations, flu, digestion problems and menstrual cramps.

  • Lettuce tea

Lettuce tea is another natural alternative to treat insomnia since it has soothing and calming properties. The drink also has a diuretic action helping to decrease swelling and helps control blood pressure. To make tea, you should leave the lettuce leaves infused for 10 minutes and then strained. Consumption should be done before bed.

  • Lemon balm tea

Lemon balm tea, also known as melissa tea, also has soothing action on the body, helping you to have a good night’s sleep. In addition to combating insomnia, lemon balm tea also has action against cellulite, acne, headache, migraines, menstrual problems, gastric problems, colds and flu, allergies and inflammation. To consume the tea, you should leave the leaves of lemon balm infused for a few minutes and take a cup of tea daily before bed.
