1. Good nutrition is important

Contrary to popular belief, the hair need to be fed from the inside out. Diet plays an important role in the health of our hair, because the nutrients that food gives us are also vital for good capillary nutrition. The basic thing is to increase the consumption of fruits, dark green vegetables, nuts, eggs, fish and drink a lot of water daily. Hair is primarily made up of protein, so be sure to eat at least 45 grams of protein daily.

2. Do a scalp massage

Massaging the scalp makes for a much more beautiful hair. The massage takes excessive oiliness, stimulates circulation and increases the absorption capacity of nutrients to the cells. With the fingertips and the palm of the hand, a circular motion for 3-5 minutes every day.

3. Right shampoo

Using the wrong shampoo and styling agent can cause significant hair damage. Look for products that are right for your hair type (oily, normal, or dry) and target any problems you have. Try to avoid shampoos with harsh ingredients, such as ammonium lauryl sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate. And remember, cost doesn’t necessarily indicate the quality of a product.

4. Moisturizing

Hair, like skin, suffers much at this time of year because of cold. To shine and be healthy is necessary to do extra hydration and protect it from external agents. Try moisturizing about once a week. In pharmacies and markets, you can find a wide variety of products to hydrate the different types of hair. But if you prefer, you can do the same cream for your hair. There are a wide range of items in your kitchen that can help a lot in this; do a search and see what you can use.

5. Same shampoo/conditioner line

Another tip that can make a difference in results is to use shampoo and conditioner in the same line. There are women who prefer to use each of a different brand, however, the products are manufactured on the same line and are made specifically for hair types and are produced with the same formula. If you mix different brands, the results can not come out so good.

6. Brush Up

A simple tip, right? A better quality brush is a great investment to keep your hair healthy. Brushing exfoliates the scalp, eliminates product residues, stimulates blood circulation, promotes growth and strengthens its brightness.

7. Avoid blow-dryers, curling wands and electric heated rollers

Hot tools like hair dryers or flatirons can be very damaging to the hair, causing it to break and dry up.
